The show follows the titular Flapjack, his mentor Captain K’nuckles and their whale Bubbie as they go on marvelous misadventures around their home port of Stormalong Harbor while trying to find the fabled Candied Island. Like Chowder, just thinking about this show brings back fond memories of Cartoon Network’s golden age and how much I wanted to join in on the high-seas adventures of these enjoyable characters. As part of my love for pirates-related media, child me really wanted a "Pirates of the Caribbean” TV show and I got something like that (albeit on a different network) with "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack”.
